SUR Desalination Plant produces 80,000 cubic meters
per day of potable water by reverse osmosis process
with very high energy mass balance efficiency. The
seawater abstraction is presently the largest beachwell
facility ever built in the world for a desalination
process. At full capacity, more than 200,000 cubic
meters per day of good quality sea water will be
abstracted and this means no use of chemicals for
pretreatment.
