Bahwan Engineering Company LLC (BEC) proudly achieved 4.1 million safe manhoursover the past 18 months, contributing to Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) reaching the landmark of 75 million safe manhours. The recognition ceremony was held on 27 April 2026, where BEC was honored for its outstanding commitment to safety excellence and QHSSE performance.
Award-winning Projects
• Gold Award: 2.4 million safe manhours – Shaleem 400kV Switching Station & Dhofar 400kV Grid Station Extension.
• Silver Award: 1.2 million safe manhours – 132/33kV Masirah Grid Station and Associated 132kV OHL.
• Bronze Award: 0.5 million safe manhours – 400kV Harweel Wind Farm Grid Station and Associated LILO.
• Best QHSSE Incident Reporting Award (November 2025): Additional 400kV & 132kV GIS Bays at Duqm Grid Station.
