BEC Group managed design, supply, and construction to upgrade the existing Mabellah-1 GS to 220kV and connect it via a LILO to Filaj/Airport Height 220kV overhead line. The scope included 220kV indoor GIS, 500 MVA autotransformers, extension of existing 132kV GIS bays, and high-capacity cable systems. Works involved the coordination of control protection systems, telecommunication interfaces, and heavy equipment installation. BEC ensured seamless integration with the existing grid to increase transmission capacity and operational flexibility for the region.
