BEC completed the design and construction of the 132/11kV Jzerajum Substation for Meraas Development. It featured 132kV GIS, 50MVA transformers, a 15MVAr shunt reactor, and 11kV switchgears. Fire protection, HVAC, and SCADA systems were installed to ensure reliability. Extensive cable works and control panels ensured efficient operation. The project reinforced BEC’s proficiency in advanced power transmission and adherence to DEWA’s high technical and safety standards.
