BEC Group delivered turnkey design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning for the Madinat Nizwa 132/33kV Grid Station and a 12 km overhead 132kV transmission line. The package included GIS and AIS switchgear, power transformers, cable terminations, substation control and protection systems, and capacitor banks. The works were coordinated with KEC for the OHL portion and involved factory inspection, heavy electrical installation, and complex cable termination works. BEC’s robust planning and quality assurance ensured safe execution and reliable integration into Oman’s transmission network.
