BEC Group constructed four 33/11kV primary substations at Wadi Kabir, Seeb, Al Khoud, and Mutrah under a turnkey EPC contract. The project included detailed design, manufacturing inspection, shipment, erection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance support. The substations, each equipped with 2x20MVA transformers, were completed safely, achieving 250,000 man-hours without LTI. The team of 250 personnel delivered within the contract schedule, providing Muscat with enhanced distribution capacity and grid reliability.
