The contractual scope of work in Sohar Refinery Expansion Project was spread across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. Civil works included concreting activities and fireproofing to ensure structural integrity and safety. Mechanical scope covered steel structures, piping works, equipment installation, fabrication and erection of supports, insulation, painting, equipment internals, and catalyst handling. Electrical works comprised of cabling and terminations, installation of transformers, switchgears, emergency diesel generators, UPS systems, neutral earthing resistors, local control stations, fixtures, and conduits. Instrumentation scope primarily involved cabling works, supporting integrated plant control and operational reliability.
