BEC Group, in partnership with Bechtel, executed major construction works for the Sohar Aluminium Project, including a 360-pot AP35G Aluminium Smelter and related facilities. The project involved utilities, port infrastructure, and a 1,000 m³/day MBR waste water treatment plant using Kubota membranes and UV  disinfection. This plant treated waste water from both construction and operation  phases, promoting water reuse. BEC’s involvement ensured the successful delivery of Oman’s largest aluminium smelter with advanced environmental systems.
